DAL is pleased to be able to guide you through our web site.  The site will be constantly changing to provide news of downtown activities, events in Albert Lea, news from and about our downtown retailers as well as updates on DAL projects.

ABOUT US - The About Us area of the site lets you learn more about Destination Albert Lea ... our accomplishments, our current projects, our membership ... well, just about everything!  As we continue to grow in membership, we will be able to take on even more projects to work toward making Albert Lea and Freeborn County and even better place to live!

SHOPS ON BROADWAY - The Shops on Broadway section of the site highlights many of our downtown retailers.  Each downtown shop will have its' own page.  The page is provided to our downtown shops as a free service by DAL in an effort to promote their services.  Be sure to check this section of the site frequently as it continues to grow.

ALBERT LEA EVENTS - The Albert Lea Events page on the site shows many of the activities occurring in and around Albert Lea.  If you have an event that you would like posted on the calendar, simply submit it using the form provided on our events page.

The Mystery of the Freeborn Finial

In the Spring of this year, DAL was entrusted the care of a beautiful piece of historic architecture from the Freeborn County Courthouse -- a finial from the old clock tower.  As you can see, the architectural detail included in the finial is unbelievably beautiful!
